Our client is a FCA regulated, leading provider of guarantor loans. Providing a unique service to a niche market, whilst ensuring their service is tailored to the needs of each individual is what they do best!

The growth of this company is exciting and following a recent acquisition they now require a hard working, organised and adaptable team leader with a strong work ethic, who can come in and help build and develop a brand new finance team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be ambitious, hard working and a diligent team player with the ability to work to deadlines.

You will also have experience of audit, compliance and regulatory reporting.

A must is also a good working knowledge of Xero accounting system and competent and experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel (including lookups, pivot tables etc)

The duties and responsibilities within the role, will include;

* Reconciliation of all bank accounts, posting invoices to Xero etc
* Reconciliation of all Control Accounts
* Preparation and production of month end Journals
* Preparation and production of monthly Management Accounts for review with Director
* Communicate and liaise with stakeholders with regards to reporting management accounts
* Preparation and production of weekly payroll & associated journals
* Review and payment submission of staff pensions
* Preparation and production budget and forecast models
* Assist and liaise with required audits
* Asset Register review
* Preparation and production of all FCA reporting
* Preparation and production of quarterly CT61 Submissions
* Support Management with HR responsibilities
* Companies House Submissions
* Other ad hoc duties - i.e special projects, R&D Claim, Insurance renewal
