+ £7000 retention bonus after 3 years in post

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children? Look no further! Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Assessment and Intervention Team!

As a Qualified Social Worker in our Assessment and Intervention Team, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential support and guidance to children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and long-term stability. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will work to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Responsibilities:

Main duties include:

  • Initial Assessments and Core Assessments
  • Section 47 Investigations
  • Contributing to the duty rota
  • Initiating care proceedings
  • Working in a multi-agency capacity to support families and children
  • Initial child protection reports conference reports

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant degree or diploma in social work.
  • Registered with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England).
  • Experience working with looked after children and or similar service.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to children in care.
