Temporary to Permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to oversee an automotive Quality inspecting project in central Birmingham.

This role is a temporary project however dependant on ability and performance there may be an opportunity of this being extended.

This role requires attention to detail and previous supervisory experience due to overseeing a small team. Communication skills are vital for this role alongside the ability and confidence using computer systems and Microsoft excel.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and populate QIR's (Quality Inspection Reports)
- Operate computer system creating excel spreadsheets when checks have been completed
- Ability to communicate efficiently with customers
- Understanding of adhering to targets and KPI's due to time restrains
- General housekeeping, keeping all areas tidy and adhering to health and safety processes
- Keyholding

Requirements:
- Previous Quality Inspecting Experience (Minimum 1 year)
- Experience supervising a small team
- Good communication skills due to liaising with internal staff and customers ensuring that all requirements are met, and targets adhered to
- Outstanding eye for detail and concentration
- Knowledge of health and safety processes

Currently there is an AM or PM shift available, once on the selected shift this will be the shift for the remained of the project.

AM - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:30 totalling 40 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid break
Rate of pay per hour: £12.00
Or
PM Monday to Friday 13:30 - 22:00 totalling 40 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid break
Rate of Pay per hour: £12.78
