Quantity Surveyor – Plymouth
An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well established and reputable passive Fire sub-contractor on a permanent basis. This company provide a range of Fire Protection services to a range of clients. This position will be office based, full time, Monday to Friday. As the Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for developing project budgets and schedules, monitor and control costs throughout the project, recording variators if they occur.

Responsibilities:
  • Dealing with enquiries from various clients
  • CVR’s
  • Monthly reporting
  • Applications for payment
  • Identifying and negotiating variations
  • Final accounts
  • Contract management
  • Monitor jobs / pricing
Skills:
  • Ideally will have a background within Fire Protection experience
  • Schedule of rates
  • Managed low value multiple projects
  • Construction related qualification
  • Computer literate in Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Identify cost saving opportunities
  • Excellent verbal & written communication
