RE Tutor in Aylesbury

We are currently seeking an experienced RE Tutor to join our team in Aylesbury. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of RE and the Bible and will be able to teach and engage students effectively. Although a religious background is not required, the candidate must be able to teach RE with respect and sensitivity to all beliefs and cultures. To work as a RE Tutor in Aylesbury a DBS certificate is required, or the candidate must be willing to obtain one.

As a RE Tutor in Aylesbury you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies or related field preferred
  • Previous teaching/tutoring experience preferred
  • Good understanding of RE and the Bible
  • Respectful and sensitive approach to teaching all beliefs and cultures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and lead a classroom
  • DBS certificate required, or willingness to obtain

Job Description:

  • Conduct RE classes for students of all ages
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Provide individualized instruction to students who require additional support
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress
