Purpose of the Role

To work as part of the Savills front of house team, based at the busy main reception desk. To assist with the smooth running of daily operations and ensure all building users receive excellent customer service and have a positive experience.

The successful applicant will have experience of working in a busy reception or in a hospitality environment and will be responsible for running the reception area, creating new dynamic ways to improve the front of house services for building occupiers and be well practiced in dealing with clients over the telephone, via email and in face-to-face situations.

One St Peter’s Square is a large commercial building that is open to occupiers 24/7 and has a number of high profile occupiers so the role would suit someone professional with excellent communication skills and experience in a customer facing role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming environment to occupiers, staff and guests.
  • Manage the site calendar and have oversight of meetings, events and contractor works taking place onsite each day.
  • Ensure that all visitors are booked in on the visitor management system and specific occupier visitor procedures are followed.
  • Deal with all ad hoc general enquiries and build and maintain the relationship between occupiers, contractors and the management team.
  • Ensure that the telephone is answered in a timely and professional manner and transferred to the appropriate personnel or messages taken. Ensure that all calls are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
  • Promote and develop the occupier portal and app to benefit occupiers and improve engagement.
  • Show the ability to create and promote small events for occupier engagement.
  • Undertake ad hoc additional administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and generally assisting Building Management as required.
  • Any other reasonable duties required by the Building Management.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of customer service at all times.
  • Ability to use full range of Microsoft applications including Outlook email and calendar functions, Word and to use an electronic Visitor Management system.
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Knowledge of health and safety
  • Strong administration and organisation skills

Working hours: Mon to Fri 8am – 5pm

Salary: £26,000 per annum
