Reception Officer
We are looking to recruit a friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic RECEPTION OFFICER to join a motivated and professional administration team that delivers outstanding customer service to a variety of self-pay, private medical insured, and NHS patients.
Job Purpose:
The Reception Officer will provide a professional, welcoming and polite reception service for all visitors and staff.
You will filter and direct calls accordingly in a calm and timely manner whilst assisting with other daily reception tasks in line with the requirements of the role.
Additional Job Information:
Based mainly at the Ashford site, with occasional cover required at their Canterbury site.
In addition, there will be a small number of occasions where you may be needed to travel to the Margate site, so a driving licence and own transport is a must.
Salary Details:
Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Offered on a temp to perm basis, so 12 weeks on a temporary basis then transferring to over permanent.
Salary: £23,957.00 - £25,532.00 depending on experience and qualifications.
There will be a requirement to work weekends as clinics dictate, but on a rota system, with the team.
Enhancements: attractive enhancements of 30% for Saturday working and 60% for Sunday working is applied, for any weekend working you are rostered for
Knowledge & Experience we are seeking:
Essential Skills
Knowledge/experience in a healthcare/medical environment
Experience of booking appointments
Strong IT skills MS Office
Exceptional customer service skills
Proven track record of delivering service beyond all expectations
Proven experience working with the public both face to face and over the phone
Maths & English (GCSE or equivalent) grade C or above
The ability to travel between sites transport (ie. Ashford & Canterbury with a very occasional requirement to travel to Margate site).
Desirable Skills
NVQ level 2 or 3 in Customer Service
Previous experience of leading a team
