Hooray are proud to be supporting a local alternative provision to assist in in the recruitment for a School Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis to run the school office.

As a School Receptionist you will:
- Undertake reception duties including answering the telephone, dealing with in person enquiries and acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the school.
- Ensure all data is kept up to date, accurate and confidential within the school.
- Be responsible for maintaining pupil records and attendance, preparing induction packs and liaising with other agencies and Schools to ensure accuracy.
- Issue petty cash, maintain appropriate records and ensure the cash is balanced.
- Undertake any other duties as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the school office.
To be successful as a School Receptionist you will:
- Be confident in your ability to work in a challenging environment with vulnerable young people.
- Describe yourself as a fast learner and a team player.
- Have experience working in an administrative role (preferably school based.)
- Enjoy a rewarding opportunity to support individuals in need.
In return, my client is offering an hourly salary of up to £13.00 per hour plus holiday. Please note, this is a temporary position working part-time (Wed-Fri).
