To embark on this exhilarating journey, you'll need:

  • A Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification in Children and Young People, or a burning ambition to work towards this prestigious accolade.
  • Previous experience in the dynamic realm of child and youth work, coupled with a genuine passion for making a positive impact.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and advocate for our children's needs.
  • A profound understanding of relevant childcare legislation, ensuring that our practices remain rooted in compliance and best practices.
  • A steadfast commitment to continuous learning and development, eagerly embracing mandatory training to refine your skills and knowledge.
  • Dedication to promoting anti-discriminatory practices, serving as a beacon of inclusivity and equality within our vibrant workplace.
  • Willingness to be on standby for off-duty calls during emergency situations, demonstrating your unwavering dedication to our children's welfare.
  • Actively participate in reviews and care-planning meetings, contributing your insights to shape the future trajectory of our residents' lives.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in supervising and managing staff, showcasing your adeptness in fostering a cohesive and high-performing team environment.

In return for your passion and dedication, we offer a competitive salary ranging from £35,000.00 to £40,000.00 per year, alongside a host of enriching opportunities for personal and professional growth.
