Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Project Management Skills Bootcamp Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of PRINCE2 methodologies and be capable of teaching complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner. This role involves guiding learners through the intricacies of project management, focusing on PRINCE2 standards to prepare them for successful careers in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Course Delivery: Teach key aspects of project management, including the unique characteristics that define project work versus ongoing business operations.
  • PRINCE2 Mastery: Deliver comprehensive training on PRINCE2 methodology, covering the language, principles, themes, and processes integral to the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Management in Projects: Instruct on the application of quality management strategies within PRINCE2, ensuring high standards and effective controls are maintained throughout the project.
  • Effective Communication: Equip learners with the skills to communicate efficiently within project teams and with stakeholders and to create and deliver influential reports and presentations.
  • Leadership Skills Development: Foster essential leadership qualities such as adaptability, empathy, and ethical decision-making among learners.
  • Meeting and Team Management: Teach effective strategies for conducting meetings, managing agendas, and promoting a positive team culture conducive to project success.

Active Tutoring Commitments:

  • Lead live online sessions for 16 weeks, one day per week, utilising Zoom and Moodle.
  • Conduct 1-1 sessions with learners at pivotal programme junctures.
  • Offer consistent remote support through email and Moodle.
  • Design and deliver live lessons aligned with weekly learning objectives.
  • Assign supplementary activities for comprehensive learning.
  • Track and support learner progress across all learning formats.
  • Evaluate assessments and offer constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with the programme team to support and intervene for learners as needed.
  • Participate in CPD sessions and relevant meetings.
  • Assigning additional learning activities from our asynchronous learning platform to provide revision, stretch and challenge opportunities
  • Monitoring learner progress in synchronous and asynchronous learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable. Certification in PRINCE2 is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in project management, preferably with hands-on PRINCE2 project implementation. Prior teaching or training experience in a formal educational setting is desired.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong leadership qualities, team-oriented, highly organised, and capable of inspiring and motivating others.
