We currently have a great opportunity for an individual with Catastrophe Modelling expertise combines with a relevant scientific educational background (ideally to PhD level) to join this highly regarded (Re)Insurer in a Catastrophe Research Manager position.

This is a great opportunity to lead and identify emerging natural catastrophe (Nat Cat) risks as well as develop appropriate strategies to manage them whilst adhering to the business catastrophe risk appetite.

In this role you will have the opportunity to participate in industry events, work with regulators and have a pivotal role in the company's view of risk.

Working closely with internal stakeholders this is an opportunity to take the lead on research -projects across all areas of nat cat as well as a high level of involvement in climate change thought leadership.

The company offer a flexible hybrid working policy where 2 days a week attendance to the London office would be ideal.
