Residential Conveyancer
A well established law firm is seeking experienced conveyancers to join their dynamic team based at their Birkenhead, Wirral office.
For the Conveyancer position, candidates must possess a comprehensive understanding of the conveyancing process and be adept at managing residential conveyancing transactions from inception to completion. This includes acting for both private clients and limited companies and handling various transaction types such as Freehold, Leasehold, New Build, Shared Ownership, Help to Buy, and Non-statutory Lease Extensions. The role entails working closely with a Senior Conveyancer, ensuring 'signing off' of files for exchange and completion, and contributing to the financial targets. Additionally, the role includes supervisory responsibilities and stepping into the Senior Conveyancer's role when required.
The Senior Conveyancer role is designed for those with an extensive grasp of conveyancing, ready to lead a team of three. This position involves allocating work, managing all files, and driving the team towards achieving set financial targets. The Senior Conveyancer will also be instrumental in the professional development of the team and will play a role in business development and identifying training needs.
Ideal candidates for both roles will be committed to acting with honesty and diligence, adhering to professional codes of conduct. The firm values individuals who are not only proficient in their field but also demonstrate a capacity for leadership and a commitment to fostering a supportive team environment.
To excel in these roles, candidates should have a proven track record in conveyancing, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. The ability to supervise and develop junior staff is crucial for the Senior Conveyancer role.
