Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Restaurant Manager to work for our client based in the Stoke on Trent area of Staffordshire.

The family run public house/restaurant is based in a semi-rural area on the outskirts of Stoke on Trent. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has previous hospitality management to assist with the running of the establishment.

This is a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:-

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant including managing staff, maintaining the highest standards of service and providing a memorable customer experience.
  • Deputising in the absence of the owners.
  • Train and develop staff members to provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Using high standards of operation prepare your area of work and ensure all team members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the preparation and content of all dishes on the menu to be able to advise guests when they are ordering including special dietary requirements.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and delivery.
  • Promoting and marketing the business.
  • Producing staff rota's.
  • End of day reports.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Essential skills:-

  • Management and Customer Service experience in a restaurant environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • To be friendly and approachable.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident and professional personality.

Hours:-

  • Working five days out of seven, on a rota basis.
  • 50-55 hours per week.

£30,000 to £32,000per annum plus tips gratuities.
