Risk and Assurance Lead / Permanent / £44,851 - £48,843 / Housing Association:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a leading Housing Association in Merseyside to recruit a Risk & Assurance Lead to their expanding team. The role is £44,851 - £48,834 per annum and offers highly flexible and agile working, with office attendance on average once a week for necessary meetings. This position has an excellent benefits package including 29 days holiday and up to 18% employer contribution pension.[

Risk and Assurance Lead – Housing Association – About The Role:

  • To support the delivery of the Risk Management and Business Assurance programme which ensures compliance with legal and regulatory standards, internal policies and procedures and supports transformational change
  • To help ensure the effective operation of risk management and reporting practices at all levels of the organisation
  • To maintain accurate and effective records which demonstrate accountability and compliance with Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR principles
  • To develop and maintain accurate records of assurance activities and outcomes such as policy, process and procedure audits, self-audits and observations
  • Directing and overseeing the Policy process, providing support to Policy owners in guiding them through each stage of the process through to approval

Risk and Assurance Lead – Housing Association – What You Need:

  • Experience in completing assurance and risk management activities
  • Experience of undertaking and overseeing audit practices and procedures, including planning, testing techniques and sampling methods
  • Good working knowledge of compliance with Data Protection legislation including GDPR
