Rural Property Associate
Based in London, this remarkable law firm are expanding their Rural Estates Team and are seeking qualified candidates to join their progession.
The ideal individual will collaborate with Associates and Partners across the practice area, focusing on rural estates, encompassing agriculture, commercial, and residential endeavors.
The Team:
- The Rural Estates Team boasts an unparalleled reputation, being the only team ranked top tier for agricultural and rural affairs.
- They represent some of the nation's major landed estates, tackling the most challenging, innovative, and captivating work in the sector.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating the sale and purchase of agricultural and rural residential properties.
- Handling agricultural, commercial, and residential landlord and tenant matters.
- Managing sporting rights, right of way, easements, and other real property aspects.
- Overseeing more complex transactions, including mineral leases, solar farm leases, renewable energy opportunities, and development agreements.
- Representing banks in securing assets.
Skills and Experience:
- Advanced technical knowledge in the practice area.
- Strong academic background.
- Organizational prowess, coupled with a keen interest in rural estates and property matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive approach to tasks and projects, with the ability to work independently.
- Lateral thinking skills, applying knowledge and experience to various matters and clients.
Person Specification
- The successful candidate must handle challenges calmly and authoritatively, working well under tight deadlines.
- They should exhibit enthusiasm for teamwork and dealing with people, along with the ability to shoulder responsibility and efficiently manage a varied workload.
- The candidate should hold a minimum 2.1 degree and possess relevant experience from a mid-sized firm.
