Sales Estimator

Diamond Search Recruitment is delighted to represent our client, a progressive firm based in North Lincolnshire. They recently opened a new position for a motivated Sales Estimator to join their busy and expanding team. We are seeking candidates with strong B2B sales experience.

Hours: 7:30 - 5:00 - Monday - Friday, no weekends

Responsibilities:

· Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project requirements.

· Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.

· Conduct thorough cost analysis of materials, labour, and equipment costs.

· Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for labour, materials, subcontractors, and other project expenses.

· Present estimates to management and clients in a clear and professional manner.

· Maintain accurate records of estimates, including any revisions or changes made throughout the bidding process.

· Collaborate with procurement teams to obtain competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements:

· Full UK driving Licence essential.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Proven experience as an Estimator in the steel construction industry.

· Strong knowledge of steel construction methods, materials, and costs.

· Proficient in using computer Excel spreadsheets & estimating tools.

· Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

· Attention to detail with the ability to accurately interpret project plans and specifications.
