Reed Education is delighted to partner with a well-respected school in search of a dedicated School Cleaner. This is a permanent, part-time role offering a competitive salary of £6,318.10 annually. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining cleanliness across the school site, including classrooms, library, hall, dining room, bathrooms, and staff areas.
  • Vacuuming carpeted areas and washing floors to ensure they are spotless.
  • Sweeping uncarpeted areas to keep them free of debris.
  • Emptying and cleaning bins, ensuring waste is managed effectively.
  • Spot cleaning spillages promptly to prevent accidents.
  • Cleaning desks, seats, and skirting boards to maintain a hygienic surface.
  • Sanitising toilet areas and replenishing toiletries, guaranteeing essential supplies are always available.
  • Cleaning doors and windows, providing a clear and welcoming view.
  • Checking stock levels of cleaning materials and keeping inventory.
  • Reporting all defects/hazards immediately to the Headteacher to address any issues swiftly.

Working Hours:

  • Flexible 2.5 hours per day, with the option to work either before or after school hours to suit your schedule.
