On behalf of a Wigan Secondary School, Tradewind is recruiting a Science Teacher who is available for full-time work after the May half-term.

The successful Science Teacher will be working in an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school where you will be paid £153 - £240 per day, depending on your experience. This is a full-time position, so potential for you to earn up to £1,200 a week before the summer holidays There is potential for this role to be extended into the next academic year

The school promotes a culture of collaboration between pupils and staff to support the academic progress of the young people who attend the school. The schools facilities are accessed by local clubs and organisations to help deliver important extracurricular opportunities to develop pupils beyond school. The aim is to develop pupils holistically as well as academically.

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10-year career history (including academic studies)
  • Minimum of 2 professional references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
