We are seeking a passionate and experienced Science teacher to join a school in the Lurgan area.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of teaching Science at the post-primary level up to GCSE, with a minimum of 3 months experience specifically teaching Physics to A Level students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons to students, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the curriculum.

- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

- Provide regular feedback to students and support their academic progress through tailored instruction and guidance.

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.

Requirements:

- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.

- Demonstrated experience teaching Science to GCSE level.

- Minimum of 3 months experience teaching Physics to A Level.

- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

- A qualified teacher recognised by the Department of Education for Northern Ireland to teach in a Post Primary School by date of appointment

- Honours B.Ed of at least 2.2 in Science with Physics as a major component or an Honours Degree in Physics of at least 2.2 with PGCE.
