Reed Education are proud to be working with SEN school based in the Sutton borough. Our client is a KS3 and KS4 Academy that caters for secondary aged pupils. Our SEN School are looking to expand their team and recruit a passionate and dedicated SEN Science Teacher for an ASAP start ongog long term role (continued in September) The right Teacher will need to have experience working with students with SEMH, learning difficulties, ADHD and requiring Behavioural and Trauma Support.

As our SEN Science Teacher, you'll be pivotal in delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with ASD, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and social, emotional, or mental health needs (SEMH).

Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver inclusive lessons. Adapt curriculum to meet individual learning styles. Monitor student progress and provide support. Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidates will:

• Have QTS/ PGCE
• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Passion for work with children with SEN needs
• Understand the complexities around SEND
• Be able to liaise with both SENCO and parent/ guardians regarding pupil's progress or any concerns
• Experience working within an SEN setting especially with SEMH and Trauma Support
• Strong behavioural management skills
• Be passionate about teaching and working with children across the secondary sector.
