Secondary Cover Teacher

As a Cover Teacher, you'll have the chance to showcase your teaching skills while enjoying the flexibility to choose when and where you work. Whether you're seeking short-term assignments or longer-term. As a Cover Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality education to our Secondary students. We are looking for teachers to work on a day-to-day or short-term Supply basis to Supply both planned and unplanned absences. Both experienced and Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply.

Your Responsibilities:
- Step in as a Cover Teacher, providing high-quality instruction and maintaining educational continuity
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and student needs as a Cover Teacher
- Manage classrooms effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment as a Cover Teacher
Requirements:
- Be an Early Careers Teacher (ECT) or have QTS
- Have the ability and experience of teaching across the primary curriculum.
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and a creative approach is necessary
- Enthusiasm, adaptability, and a passion for education
To work with GSL Education as a Teacher, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection or willingness to take a course on safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
