SENDCO | Hackney, East London | ASAP Start

Remedy are looking for a motivating and engaging SENCo to work in our improving school based in Hackney.

You will have the experience and responsibility in day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEND. You will need to be prepared to teach when needed and be able to corporate with the school's ethos and values.

As this is a permanent position, the school are looking for someone with innovative ideas and extensive experience working in a team with other educational professionals.

You will need to hold the National SENCO qualification or be working towards completing the qualification. You will be able to effectively work closely with parent/carers and professionals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have an excellent knowledge of SEND
  • Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff and parents
  • Be able to contribute to and implement strategic plans for the provision of pupils with EHCP's
  • Have good behaviour and communication skills
  • Full QTS qualification

Our school supports children with autism, helping them grow and develop new skills to prepare them for the world. The friendly staff are looking for someone new to come in and join their amazing team. You will need to have a passion for working with SEND students.
