SEN School Teaching Assistant - Chelmsford, Essex

The school caters for pupils aged 3 - 19 who have a variety of severe learning difficulties, including some with autism and/or challenging behaviour and some with serious medical conditions.
They pride ourselves in having high quality and enthusiastic staff that encourage our pupils to achieve their fullest potential academically, socially, emotionally, physically, morally, spiritually and aesthetically, enabling each pupil to grow in confidence, and able to participate in the wider community. The school support our staff in doing this by offering a high level of training and development throughout their time at the school.

The role will be supporting students with their academic progress whilst also supporting students emotionally, socially & physically.
The role will be between the hours of 8:30 - 3:30 and a temp-perm position.

A background in working with children or adults with special needs would be preferred, but other backgrounds would be considered.
