Position Available: We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, working Mondays to Wednesdays. This is an immediate start position, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels supported and valued.
Implement effective strategies and resources to promote student progress and independence.
Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to develop personalised learning plans and support strategies.
Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers to ensure continuity of support between home and school.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with students with SEND. Strong understanding of SEND needs and a passion for inclusive education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and relevant safeguarding training.
To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
