SEN Teaching Assistant | 1:1 & Small Group Support | £82.14-£100 Per Day | Waltham Forest, East London

Reeson Education is looking for a passionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is keen to support pupils with autism, communication needs, and SEMH within a friendly, inclusive setting.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted support, helping pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

SEN Teaching Assistant Role Overview:
  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position, ASAP start

  • Working with children in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 depending on experience

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs

  • Assisting with the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

  • Helping deliver interventions and personalised learning programmes

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant

  • Strong understanding of autism, speech and language difficulties, and/or SEMH

  • Calm, patient, and positive attitude towards learning support

  • DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
