Position: Teaching Assistant for Special Educational Needs (SEND) Primary School Based

Are you a dedicated and certified Teaching Assistant seeking opportunities in Derby? LTF Recruitment is actively searching for individuals like you to join full-time roles in Primary Schools, aiding children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Essential for this position is prior experience in SEND, as you will play a pivotal role in these students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist a diverse range of learning requirements.
  • Support pupils in fostering independence and social skills.
  • Assist with pupils' personal care and medical requirements.
  • Contribute to pupils' health and well-being.
  • Aid pupils in enhancing literacy and numeracy skills to improve their overall academic performance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possession of a relevant teaching assistant qualification.
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a school environment.
  • Experience working with children with SEND.
