Your new company

A highly successful accountancy firm situated in Bristol that has seen significant expansion. Smaller, start-up, entrepreneurial firms through to larger corporates, AIM listed and significant sized groups up to around £200 million in turnover, for example, are represented by the firm, which has a diverse OMB customer base across many industries. This firm also has a strong private client, wealth and estate group that represents HMWI's trusts and businesses both in the UK and abroad. The firm's customer base provides a diverse and interesting range of complex and exciting work to get engaged with, allowing you to diversify your career while acquiring new technical skills and working with a tough and engaging client base. The environment promotes a more team-oriented approach in a far more collaborative and enjoyable working environment. A solid work-life balance, a flexible mix of home and office work, and a clear growth and development route all contribute to this.

Your new role

As a Senior Accountant in their Bristol offices, you will further your career as a vital member of their accounts and trust teams. As you progress in the role, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, prepare accounts, oversee junior staff's work, and provide broader services to international clients through one of their European office locations. The managerial/senior managerial and director support will encourage, support, and develop the right professional making this shift from a more traditional accountancy practice job. This is a great opportunity to join a company at the next stage of its growth, with good appraisal mechanisms in place and true progression on offer as you develop, mature, and carve an influential role in this team.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be ACA/ACCA qualified or have relevant experience offering accounts/tax and other general accountancy practice services to a wide range of sole trade, partnership, and limited company clients, developed in an accountancy practice firm setting. You will have progressed through your career to at least experienced Senior Accountant levels and be looking to expand your technical skills into new fields. You will be motivated by the opportunity to work in a larger firm environment and role with a genuine clear progression and development path on offer.

What you'll get in return

£44,000 - £50,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
