The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director in planning, execution and management of finance strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day management of the finance department, as well as development to support future growth.

Our client is a well-respected and established group focusing on engineering and infrastructure. Located in London, the company is actively expanding across the UK and is growing the finance team as a result.

Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering accurate and timely financial information to the business in a user-friendly manner.
  • Building first-class teams to support business growth.
  • Reducing business costs and increasing business investment.
  • Producing robust and transparent reports and financial data.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency.

Profile

The successful applicant should be:

  • ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Experienced with management accounts, analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Able to use initiative when tackling problems and challenges.
  • A team player, willing to develop a team to increase overall performance.
  • Capable of building long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Offer
