Senior Acoustic Consultant

My client is a high-end acoustic consulting organisation situated in the UK. They specialise in architectural, environmental, and industrial acoustics and are looking for a senior acoustic consultant who is ambitious, motivated, and eager to advance professionally. The ideal candidate should be able to contribute meaningfully to the team. The company provides consulting services for noise assessment, sound insulation testing, and sophisticated 3D noise modelling. They deliver unrivalled solutions to their clients across a wide range of projects, including home, commercial, and industrial-size projects throughout the United Kingdom.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or master's degree in Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a relevant subject with an emphasis on acoustics, as well as membership in the Institute of Acoustics.
  • At least three years of experience in acoustic engineering, with a track record of managing complex projects and providing innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to business development efforts, such as identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and expanding client base.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to consult with clients, communicate technical results, and establish enduring partnerships.
  • Strong awareness of acoustic engineering regulations, standards, and proposals to assure project compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • As the principal point of contact for clients, provide professional counsel, communicate technical results, and build solid connections.
  • Deliver bespoke solutions to clients' varying acoustical concerns.
  • Lead and manage complicated acoustic projects from concept to finish, delivering quality outputs and meeting timelines.
  • Mentor and guide graduate engineers for professional growth and project execution.
  • Professionally analyse and interpret acoustic data using modern noise assessment methodologies, sound insulation testing, and 3D modelling software.
