Position: Senior Architect | Location: Stockport | £37.5k - £47.5k doe
 
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Architect to join a medium sized RIBA Chartered practice based in Stockport.
 
Due to a strong pipeline of work, they are on the lookout for a Senior Architect to join with knowledge in the education sector, ideally having worked on projects within this sector before, however, anyone with a passion to work on these types of projects is also of interest. 
 
This RIBA Practice has under 20 members of staff, with varying in experience and expertise. As a practice they have a focusing on ensuring work-life balance, offering early finishes on Fridays (1pm) and a flexible working arrangement during the week.
 
The Role and Requirements: Senior Architect
  • Produce information for and sometimes run site meetings at different stages
  • Previous experience using Revit or working in the Education sector - including Priority School design process and DfE Output Specification.
  • Strong design and detailing skills for a variety of projects - small extensions/refurbishments to SENDspecific works to large scale new build developments.
  • Run your own projects and small team
  • Help mentor junior staff
  • Experience working on all RIBA Stages. 
  • Confident communicating with all stakeholders, including contractors and clients. 
  • Live within a commutable distance of Stockport
