An exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading global law firm supporting the firms’ key transactional practices.

As a pivotal member of the firm’s business development leadership team, you will head up and work with core business development areas and growth initiatives for the firms London and European offices. Core practice areas include M&A, Restructuring, and Finance with a focus on energy, infrastructure, and insurance.

The role will supervise and be supported by a Manager and a Coordinator in London. They will work as an integral part of a global BD & Marketing team led by the Director of the firms’ Transactional practices which is based in New York. This is a busy role and suited to a BDM that is flexible with working cross time zones on occasion and has excellent management skills, delegating and managing the day-to-day operations.

The perfect Senior Business Development Manager will have a minimum of ten years of experience within a marketing and business development environment at a legal or financial firm, with four of those years being managing people directly. You will have a deep understanding and knowledge of the legal landscape, coupled with excellent delivery skills.

This is a permanent position with a salary of up to c£125,000, excellent benefits, travel opportunities and hybrid working.
