Role Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert consultancy services to clients in the defense and security sector. They will analyse and assess nuclear weapon systems, including their design, safety protocols, and operational procedures. They will collaborate with government agencies, defense contractors, and international partners. They will develop and deliver technical reports, risk assessments, and policy recommendations. They will stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies. They will support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultancy services to clients in the defense and security sector.
- Analyse and assess nuclear weapon systems, including their design, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with government agencies, defense contractors, and international partners.
- Develop and deliver technical reports, risk assessments, and policy recommendations.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
- Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
- Background in Nuclear Weapon Systems: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with nuclear weapon systems, including knowledge of their design, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Security Clearance (SC): Candidates must hold a valid SC clearance or be eligible for SC clearance.
- Technical Expertise: Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex technical information.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Project Management: Experience managing projects and delivering results within deadlines.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Systems Safety Knowledge: A strong understanding of systems safety principles.
- Safety Analysis and Safety Cases: Ideally, experience in safety analysis and safety case development.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, physics, or related discipline).
- Experience in nuclear weapon systems
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to travel as required for client engagements.
