The successful Senior Design Engineer will aid the management of the department to ensure accurate technical information is provided for customers and the Production and Sales Departments.

The role will involve:

  • The role will include promoting sales for the company, the development of new products and the Project management of non standard projects.
  • A successful candidate will grow the role to become a member of the company's management committee.
  • The role is responsible for the accurate description of items bought and sold, accurate preparation of CAD drawings and computer cutting files and working within the company administrative procedures.
  • The role also encompasses the development of 3D shaped surfaces and reducing these to 2D cutting files.
  • The department also manages the company Health & Safety and quality assurance compliance.

To be successful in this role of Senior Design Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

  • Has necessary skills to produce high quality and timely drawings for Production and for sub-contracting using AutoCAD.
  • Has the ability to generate sales for the company.
  • Is comfortable to work and manage a team.
  • Has ability to visit customers and measure accurately.
  • Has a clean and valid UK driving licence.
