Senior Generator Engineer

Senior Generator Engineer required. My client is well established in the supply, maintenance and installation of diesel generators and UPS across the UK. Due to a desire to expand, they are looking to add to their service team with an experienced engineer. The successful candidate will be integral to the future of the business, with a strong understanding of diesel generator engineering and control panels. You must also be happy to travel nationally, with occasional visits to the workshop in Exton, Hampshire.

Senior Generator Engineer Position Overview

• Servicing small and large diesel generators at client sites nationally
• Leading and overseeing generator projects
• Work with the service management team to schedule in own work
• Representing the company in a professional manner
• Liaising with clients to resolve issues
• Schedule in routine generator surveys/services
• Assisting with project designs and planning at their office in Hampshire
• Commissioning of generator control panels
• Training colleagues when required

Senior Generator Engineer Position Requirements

• Electrical Engineering qualifications
• Previous experience servicing and installing generators is essential
• Experience working on generator control panels
• Switchgear experience desirable
• Commissioning experience desirable
• Engine rebuild experience desirable
• Prepared to travel nationally and spend nights away (expenses paid)
• Based within 50 miles of Exton, Hampshire
• CSCS / ECS card
• Full UK Driving Licence

Senior Generator Engineer Position Remuneration

• £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• Door to door pay
• Hours full time Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00 with flexible start and finish times
• 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
• Overtime available
• Company Van
• Pension
