Venn Group have partnered with an internationally renowned banking institution seeking a Project Manager to join their Change Management function and assume responsibility for a variety of systems and process improvements across its Edinburgh function. The incumbent will join a versatile and dynamic team responsible for initiating and delivering complex change throughout the business; the current objective within the team is for this position to facilitate the migration and transition away from legacy systems and processes, showcasing experience in both Project Management and working with Charles River.
This contract role will employ a hybrid working arrangement, with on-site presence in the Edinburgh office required.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in change management or migration projects within securities, fund administration, or fund middle office.
- Education: University graduate preferably in business administration, information technology, or a similar discipline.
- Product Knowledge: Solid knowledge of Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, and Middle Office Vendor products, with expertise in systems being advantageous.
- Market Understanding: Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the securities market and the associated market infrastructure for Fund Administration, Fund Middle Office, and Custody business.
- Awareness: General awareness of business, regulatory, and technology changes within investment management is essential.
- Technical Skills: Good technical aptitude, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Excel macros.
