Senior Quantity Surveyor – Devon
RGB is on the lookout for experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors for a permanent position with a leading contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established building contractor that delivers innovative projects for both public and private sectors. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring financial completion of projects and protecting the company's financial risks. Responsibilities:
  • To maximise the commercial efficiency of the project whilst reducing the risk profile
  • Preparation of internal commercial reporting and any other reports which may be required measurement, valuation, and agreement of work sections
  • Preparation of tender enquires for subcontract works packages and analysis of tender returns
  • Preparation of Valuations/Application for payment with full supporting documentation in accordance with the contract
  • Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts and managing a small team
Skills:
  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to perform accurate calculations and cost analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Relevant driving licence
