Senior Risk- Shipping/Chartering

My client is seeking a Shipping Risk Analyst to join their energy firm and play a role in safeguarding their expanding shipping activities. In this high-visibility position, you will provide real-time insights to risk managers, senior management, and traders, ensuring informed decision-making and effective risk management of our freight exposures. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the evolution of their shipping business model and the enhancement of their ETRM systems.

This role centres on data-driven analysis and strategic collaboration. You will prepare and interpret shipping P&L and risk reports, identifying key trends and addressing potential concerns with relevant teams.

I am looking for candidates who possess proven experience in a market risk role, ideally within a trading company, shipbroker, or banking environment. In-depth knowledge of the shipping industry, freight markets, and operational logistics is essential.
