Position: Site Supervisor
Location: Primary School, Doncaster, UK
Start Date: June 2024

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school premises, ensuring a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment.
• Conduct routine inspections of the school buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance tasks such as repairs, refurbishments, and installations, liaising with external contractors when necessary.
• Manage the school's security systems and protocols, including CCTV monitoring and access control.
• Maintain inventory records for supplies, equipment, and materials, and oversee their procurement as needed.
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents on site, implementing appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, with the ability to implement and enforce compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, students, parents, and external contractors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic IT skills for managing electronic systems and records.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
