Your responsibilities will include-

In the role of Small Tool Fitter, you will serve as a Tool Fitter, working in the workshop based in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will be part of an exceptional team of Plant Fitters dedicated to the upkeep, servicing, and repair of our company's extensive fleet of Plant Hire equipment.

• Servicing, repairs and breakdown maintenance of equipment such as Torque wrenches, Cement mixers, Chipping hammers, Impact wrenches, Drills, Small Plant and more.
• Carry out diagnostic testing to identify faults using HAV,PAT and Calibration to identify faults.
• Complete detailed reports on all work carried out.
• Provide support and mentoring for less experienced Tool Fitters/Small Plant Fitters.
• Work with a fantastic team of qualified Tool Fitters/Small Plant Fitters.

Other industries considered-

• HGV/Powered Access/Agricultural/Plant

Experience essential for this role -

• Full UK Driving Licence is required
• Fully qualified Tool Fitter
• A good understanding of Hydraulic, Power Tools, Pneumatic, HAV,PAT and Calibration testing

• Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing faults with a variety of Power Tools/Small Plant.
• Great communication skills and problem solving skills
