Social Housing & Regeneration Solicitor

Liverpool/Hybrid

Competitive

My client, a progressive law firm founded in 1988 with a strong commitment to serving the diverse communities, is currently seeking an experienced Associate/Senior Associate Solicitor to join their award-winning Social Housing and Regeneration team. This role, based exclusively in Liverpool, offers an optional hybrid working arrangement for the right candidate, allowing flexibility in the working environment.

With over 5 years of PQE, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing specialist legal advice in Social Housing and Land law. They will represent landlords in residential claims for possession, offer housing and asset management legal guidance, and manage client work in adherence to the firm's policies and quality standards.

The responsibilities also encompass providing legal advice on tenancy agreements, leasehold, policy, governance, and procedure. The candidate will act on behalf of landlords in cases related to Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and breach of tenancy injunctions. Additionally, they will support clients in legislative changes, ombudsman complaints, and regulator inquiries.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to translate technical legal issues into clear advice, and excellent attention to detail. Experience in managing and developing people, acting for registered providers of Social Housing, and a solid understanding of property/Social Housing Law is essential.

This role involves advocating in the County Court, ensuring timely and professional progression of client work, and maintaining high standards in client care and confidentiality. The candidate should be adaptable to new procedures and changes in the law, actively contribute to business development strategies, and promote the values of the firm.

In summary, my client is looking for a proactive and adaptable solicitor who aligns with their values, has a 'get it done' attitude, and can efficiently manage a profitable case load. If you have the required experience and skills, and you are looking to contribute to a reputable law firm in Liverpool, this could be an excellent opportunity for career progression and professional growth.

If this opportunity aligns with your career goals, please connect with me via email at by sending an up-to-date CV. I am eager to provide more insights and discuss this role in greater detail.
