Social Worker - Adults short term assessments

Requirements:

• Social Work England Registration
• Extensive Adults Social Work Experience
• Experience of safeguarding vulnerable adults

This local authority based near Twickenham is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a newly formed team with an opportunity to truly make a difference to the lives of people approaching adult social care for the first time. The team is working in innovative new ways to maximise a person's strengths and exploring preventative support to reduce their reliance on statutory services.

Key Points

• Caseloads very manageable with a mix of preventative cases and safeguarding screening.
• Monday-Friday 9-5 (2-3 times per week in office)
• Pay rate is between £30-32 Per Hour

The Social Worker in the Community Advice and Support Team will be responsible for working in a truly person-centred way offering residents the option to engage with the service in a way that suits them, including on the phone, video or face to face at local talking points.
