Full Time Contract ( 4 months )

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a solicitor specialising in childcare in Somerset. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

• The effective and efficient preparation and processing in a timely manner of all legal documents
• Preparation of precedents and checklists and standard forms and the development and implementation of the organisation's corporate governance framework.
• Conduct and manage a wide ranging caseload of both straightforward and complex legal work, with a bias towards childcare
• Advise and attend partnership and other interagency meetings and case conferences as required, including provision of advice and assistance in the preparation of protocols, policies and procedures.

The candidate:

• Must be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Previous experience in a similar role within the public sector is preferred
• Knowledge of recovery orders, DOLs, PLOs and contested adoptions is essential
