SQL Analyst / Developer - Windsor/Hybrid - £80,000

My client is based in the Windsor area are currently looking to recruit for an experienced SQL Analyst / Developer to join their team. They are one of the leaders within the Insurance Industry, and are currently going through a period of growth and are looking for an experienced SQL Analyst/Developer to join their team.

Your role will include:

• Ensure data/applications can be moved from test to production environment and all data is ready for reporting.
• Heavy coding in SQL, creating stored procedures, performance tuning of code and ensure business logic is correct in SQL such as table names, views, functions etc.
• Design and develop complex data pipelines and queries for efficient data extraction and transformation.
• Development and maintenance of complex datasets needed for reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI or similar.
• Support data migration, transitioning legacy data platforms and products to the new global data landscape.

For this role, they are looking for a candidate that has experience in…

• Strong SQL experience - writing complex queries, performance tuning, views, triggers, stored procedures
• Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
• Strong visualisation experience using Power BI.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of software development best practices and ability to write production-level performant SQL code.
