Stores Manager
We are currently seeking a Stores Manager to join a rapidly growing, family-run SME. This role is based at their manufacturing site in North Wales. As a Stores Manager you will make sure that the goods bought into stores are fully checked off and delivered to factory in a timely manner.
Key duties and responsibilities....
- Ensure all product is available, picked and ready for production plan start date.
- Place purchase orders
- Expedite suppliers managing acknowledgment process
- Ensure deliveries match delivery note & PO and are booked in within 24hrs
- Organise restocking of consumable and stock managed items. Incl. non production items e.g. welfare consumables, packaging etc.
- Manage service providers e.g. skips, FLT gas, pallets etc.
- Using Kefron to resolve invoice queries
- Update/Recommend RTIS product database.
- Checking and maintaining FSC PEFC stock control systems
- Ensure monthly rolling stock takes happen.
- Ensure paperwork errors (POs RTIS etc) are escalated
- Recommend on standard/non standard stock items
- Maintain safe & organised storage and work areas including information systems (eg visual display etc).
- Manage Loading/unloading products & the movement of stock
- Deputising for Department Manager in their absence
- While the essence of this role will remain as stated above some duties may be changed, updated, added and withdrawn in line with business needs
Requirements
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems
- Experience using MS Office and MS Teams (other video conferencing)
- Communication at all levels with internal and external parties
- Working to time deadlines
- Well-organised
Hours: Mon - Friday 39 hours per week
