Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the fight against poverty throughout Greater Manchester? We're proud to collaborate with a charitable organisation, offering a unique opportunity for you to join their cause as a Support Worker.

As a Support Worker, your role is to make a significant difference in the lives of those in need. You'll be on the front lines, delivering a person-centered approach, empowering service users to set SMART goals, and providing valuable advice and emergency support.

You'll manage referral appointments with the utmost dignity, ensuring service users receive the support they deserve. Clear communication is crucial as you collaborate with our support teams and external agencies.
Your responsibilities also include coordinating referrals and establishing pathways for service users to integrate into the programme, offering them opportunities for employment, education, and training to ensure a brighter future.

But your role goes beyond this; you'll manage a caseload, conducting one-on-one sessions per week. You'll also provide drop-in and group activities within the structured program, focusing on making a positive impact in the lives of service users. To track their progress, you'll use outcome measures and tools, writing case studies and reports when required.

Desirable Experience:

  • Frontline experience in the Third Sector, supporting vulnerable adults.
  • The ability to speak a second language; Russian or Arabic would be particularly useful.

Essential Experience:

  • A person-centered approach, empowering others.
  • Good communication skills, proactive listening, with effective questioning.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations, safeguarding, and incident management.

If you're ready to make a real difference and be part of a cause that truly matters, we want to hear from you.

Join us in the fight against poverty and help change lives in Greater Manchester.
