Support Worker

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting Support Workers to provide high quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs in the community of Cumbria.

We are looking for caring, reliable and trustworthy Support Workers who can provide high quality care and support to adults in a variety of settings such as residential and supported living.

Shifts: Days, Waking Nights and Sleep in Shifts

Daily Responsibilities Include:

• promoting independent living (cooking, cleaning, personal care, washing, ironing, paying bills, shopping).
• Support with appointments in line with health and housing.
• Support with healthcare and medication.
• Maintaining dignity
• Support with accessing community to participate in actives and education.

Person Specification:

• The successful applicant must have recent employed experience within Learning Disabilities or Mental Health.
• The applicant must be prepared to support (where required) personal care with dignity and privacy.
• It would be beneficial if the applicant must be a car driver with full UK driving license.
