Support Worker
My clients nursing home located in Nottingham, specializes in catering to individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviors. Now, we are seeking dedicated and empathetic Support Workers to join our team, helping us continue our mission of empowering and enriching the lives of those we serve.
Positon: Support Worker
- Hourly rate: £12.26 to £13.26 (paid breaks)
- Comibnation of Days and Nights
- Shift times: 8am to 8pm / 8pm to 8am
- Contracted hours: 36 to 48 hours per week
In this role, you will provide invaluable assistance and support to individuals who may require help due to age, disability, illness, or other challenges. Your responsibilities as a support worker will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering positive relationships.
- Accompanying clients to appointments, outings, and social activities, promoting community engagement and inclusion.
- Supporting clients in developing and maintaining independence and autonomy.
- Following individualized care plans and adapting support strategies as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of client interactions and progress.
