A well-respected is currently looking to recruit a Supported Housing Manager to start with them on a permanent contract.

Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Location: Cambridge
Rate of Pay: £35,006.40 per annum

Main duties of the role:
• Managing a supported living service for a well-known charity which is a home for young people who are victims of homelessness
• Lead and provide support to staff members with an emphasis on increasing team morale
• Communicate with external parties including the local Council and Social services
• Assist in updating and developing bids and tenders
• Ensure voids are kept to a minimum by reducing turnaround times
• Manage the services budgets and support staff to minimize expenditure
• Make sure income collection is due in line with company policies and arrears are kept down
• Monitor any repairs and ensure they are dealt with in a reasonable timeframe
• Implement training for staff and conduct regular meetings
• Lead on any recruitment for the service and ensure new staff are inducted correctly
• Monitor the rota and manage any absences

Essential requirements:
• An Enhanced DBS from within the last year with the Adults and Children’s list checked or willingness to obtain
• Experience or an interest in working with vulnerable people
• Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
