Systems Accountant - 12 month FTC

Your new company
Large public sector organisation in Liverpool currently undergoing an exciting period of change and transformation.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role assisting with the implementation of a new finance system, whilst also supporting the wider accounts team.
Duties will include:
? Maintenance of user databases, ensuring system permissions are in line with delegated authorities and ensure the segregation of duties;
? Providing day to day support for in house finance systems, channelling end-user queries and triage of incidents as necessary;
? Troubleshooting and proposing solutions for a range of detailed system issues;
? Working towards eliminating all financial offline information and to maximisation of the potential for effective systems integration
? Helping the in-house teams to evaluate, design, plan, implement and test new requirements;
? Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to review and map finance system workflows to ensure that systems are efficient and meet operational needs

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced accountant with a flair for systems and analysis. You'll be available to start at short notice.
