Systems Engineer
Job Description
- Understanding, interpreting, and clarifying customer and stakeholder requirements.
- Establishing system architecture and developing interface definitions.
- Managing requirements and creating specifications for internal and external suppliers.
- Utilizing computer modelling and simulation for actuation systems, encompassing hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Supporting product design and development through static and dynamic analysis, including sizing, sensitivity, and robustness analysis, as well as control law development.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Demonstrated at least 3 years of expertise in systems engineering activities and the development of computer simulations for complex hydraulic, mechanical, and/or electrical systems.
- Demonstrates unwavering personal integrity, operates independently with composure under pressure, and employs a logical approach to technical problem resolution and decision-making.
- Showcasing proficiency in analytical methods, problem-solving, Systems Thinking, System Lifecycles, System Modelling and Analysis, Requirements Definition, and System Architecting.
- Proven experience in system integration, model verification, and conducting intricate failure investigations.
- Training provided for daily applications, with a preference for prior experience in IBM Rational DOORS 9.X for Requirements Management and/or Systems Modelling Language (SysML).
